MN –The world’s largest supplier of liquid-carbon

friendly dry cleaning machine at Fabricare 2002 in
Long Beach, California.
Cool Clean
Technologies, Inc., returned to the biannual California
Cleaners Association Show in Long Beach, Ca. August
22-25. Cool Clean displayed their CO2
dry cleaning machine while the Cool Clean team informed
interested attendees of the many advantages of the
CO2 cleaning process. Gordon
Shaw, of Hangers Cleaners in San Diego, was among
the experts chosen to speak on the Alternative Solvents
Panel. Gordon, who operates a successful dry cleaning
business utilizing the CO2
process, fielded questions and corrected some misconceptions
on safety and cleaning ability issues, while outlining
the many positive aspects of the CO2
cleaning process.
Some of
the benefits cited were that the CO2
process is gentle on garment fibers and colors thus
greatly increasing garment life as well as the type
of garments that can be cleaned, with no heat to set
stains and wrinkles; shorter cycle and drying times
which increases capacity potential; and that CO2
is completely natural which relieves the Dry Cleaner
from hazardous waste and many zoning regulations.
